We're looking for teachers so we can have classes on knitting, crocheting, weaving and spinning. Please email or call Lauren at the store.

Learn some new knitting skills and make a project at the same time. Never knit before? Sign up so you can learn. More details coming soon.

Knit-A-Longs

All Winter long we'll be having knit times focused on certain kinds of projects. Every month will have a different project-theme starting in September. Stay tuned for more details.

Summer @ Sweet Yarns

What's new?

Sweet Yarns has something new this Summer - a new owner! Lauren Raymond purchased the store in June and is happy to continue providing Greater Sudbury (and beyond) with lots of yarn-related goodies.

A little about Lauren

Lauren was taught how to knit by her Granny when she was a young girl. She has loved knitting from the moment she started even though her school-focused life didn't always allow for much of it. Most recently, Lauren has enjoyed life as a stay-at-home mom and knitting when the kids allowed. She is happy to now share her passion for knitting with the Sweet Yarns' community.

Hours

We're here all Summer long so you can enjoy working on your projects, pick up supplies for your next project and plan some new ones. The air conditioning is on so you can have a cool break from the Summer sun.

Tuesday to Thursday - 10AM to 5PM
Saturday - 10AM to 2PM
