Look Who I brought home :)

Well it has felt like summer for a couple of weeks and now all of a sudden back to the cold.  What's up with that?
I can't believe how fast time passes.  It just seems like yesterday I was telling you how excited I was to be going to the Knitter's Frolic in Toronto and a month has almost passed by.

Well, we had an awesome time and I highly recommend it.  So many vendors and interesting knitters and fibre enthusiasts.  I didn't get a chance to take any classes - but would definitely plan for it the next time.  Guess what I found at the Knitter's frolic - a beautiful sheep.  I couldn't leave her behind.
Here She is - Her name is "Bella" - what do you think :)
Here is my friend Janet carrying Bella to the car - the other shoppers stopped to say bye.

Here are some other pictures from the Knitter's Frolic - notice how everyone is smiling :)

Lyn from Cabin Fever - showing us some great hand dyed yarns made of Merino, Silk, Nylon and Silver :)  Had to get some - we now have it in the store with some beautiful shawlette patterns - come check it out.
Jane from Dye-Version Hand Dyed Fibres - oh the colours are so gorgeous.  We stock them as well :)

The ladies from Soak - what a great & fun bunch they were :)

Soooooo what kind of knitting have I been up to - well here is my updated on some of those projects I have been working on.....

One sock is done - YAHOOOOO - one more to go - started and working on the foot at the moment.  The pattern is Mock Cable Sock from the book "Socks from the Toe UP" by Wendy D Johnson.
Since I have finished the top down sweater (below) I thought I would start this cute little boys vest using Liberty Wool.  It's just a straight knit pattern and I'm really enjoying working with this yarn.  Check out the colours available at http://www.oldmillknitting.com/product.php?id=748.  Or come on in to see what we have in stock and how it's knitting up.

Here's my son Jordan with his newly completed socks made from Noro (Silk Garden Sock Yarn).  He can't wait to wear them snowboarding next year (oops I kind of missed this past snowboarding season)

There's more BUT that will be for next week.........................

Have a great weekend - enjoy the outdoors and some knitting time :)
